Think pretty!

My husband and I are reading a new book together, and one of the highlighted scriptures was Phillipians 4:9 which said

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." (NIV)

Beautiful!!! Simply a gorgeous scripture! Paul tells us to concentrate, to intently consider the good in life, the inspirational beauty that we overlook from time to time.

Beautiful Weekend for the hubby and I

I had such a beautiful weekend with my husband. He had been away for 6 weeks due to his job, and it just felt good being around the person I love the most. We both really enjoy community events and festivals, so we went out to the Indiana State Fair on Saturday, which so happened to be our first date exactly 2 years ago(we were wed on year later)! So to celebrate our one year anniversary we spent the evening at the fairgrounds. We rode on the ferris wheel, which was also the only ride we rode on our first date. My husband always laughs at me because I was a lil scared when it stopped at the top! I'm not the biggest fan of fair rides... but I love me a good coaster!
